Description: 

This coffee was imported by Origin Coffee Lab in Northern Peru. Jose at Origin has been doing some important work to pay higher prices and offer some much-needed transparency and longevity in a remote growing region where it is the norm for producers to be taken advantage of by hawkish buyers. This lot from Yonal’s farm is 100% Bourbon variety, grown at a nice 1750m above sea level. His coffee is bright, lively and delicate. Herbal notes remind us of rooibos and are balanced off by some stonefruit and citrus flourishes.
